What we do
One crew, start to finish
Most excavation jobs touch more than one trade. A new septic field needs the tank set, the lines run and the yard put back. A building pad needs clearing, cutting, stone and drainage. We handle all of it in-house rather than handing you off halfway through, which is usually what turns a one-week job into a month.

Utilities & Storm Sewer
Underground water, sanitary sewer, storm sewer, electric and conduit. Trenched to depth, bedded properly and backfilled so it doesn't settle on you in two years. Locates get called and marked before the bucket goes in the ground — every job, no exceptions.

Land Clearing
Brush, stumps, fence rows and overgrown acreage cleared, hauled off and cleaned up. Plenty of properties around here have five useful acres hiding under fifteen years of growth. Getting it back is usually cheaper than people expect.

Demolition

Service 07
Pond Construction
Farm and livestock ponds, stormwater detention basins, and cleanouts on old ponds that have silted in. A pond is really a dam with water behind it, so the core gets compacted in lifts rather than pushed up in a pile — that's the difference between one that holds and one that seeps.

Before you dig, know this
Do you handle more than one service on the same job?
Usually, yes — and that's the point. A single project often needs clearing, excavation, a septic system and final grade. Running it with one crew and one set of equipment means fewer schedule gaps and one person accountable for the result.
How much does excavation cost?
It depends on access, how much material moves, whether we hit rock, and whether spoil has to be hauled off. A small drainage fix and a full building pad aren't in the same universe. That's why we walk the site and give you a written number instead of guessing over the phone.
Do you take small residential jobs?
Yes. Driveway repair, a stump, a wet spot in the yard, a shed pad — small jobs are a real part of what we do. Give us a call and we'll tell you honestly whether it's worth bringing equipment out.
Do you call 811 before digging?
Always. Utility locates are called and marked before any excavation begins. It's free, it's the law, and hitting a gas or fiber line is a bad day for everyone.
What happens if you hit rock?
Limestone and shallow bedrock are common through Jefferson and Berkeley County, so we look for the signs before quoting. If rock shows up anyway and it changes the scope, we stop and talk to you about options and cost before we keep going.
Do you work with builders and other contractors?
Yes. A good share of our work is site prep for builders who need a pad cut, stoned and draining before their crew arrives. We can work to a plan or to stakes, and we keep to a schedule.
